SEPTEMBER 11, MEMORIAL SCULPTURE, San Jose,
Costa Rica. This is a work that serves to both preserve the memories of the
victims of September 11 and act as a symbol of the strong ties between the
people of Costa Rica and the United States. This monument is the result of a
joint initiative between the Embassy of the United States, the Costa Rican North
American Cultural Center, the North American Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce (
AmCham) , and the colony of resident Americans in Costa Rica. NEW LIBERTY III is a copper sculpture designed as a gift to Spain from the State of Florida, Costa Rica, and the artist. Three sections symbolizing the three countries honor interaction and friendship in this gift which is hosted in Spain by Costa Rica. CIRCLE OF FLIGHT is a 8' circle of copper sculpture designed to expressively accent the entrance to an airport.
CEIBA TREE is a copper
sculpture accomplished for the United States Ambassador's office reception
area at the United States Embassy in San Jose, Costa Rica in 2006. It is
six foot high mounted on a black marble base. The theme is based on the
ceiba or kapok tree and its connection to the people.
DIOGENES, 2005, This cast
bronze sculpture five foot high of the Greek philosopher Diogenes is meant
to represent the thought of seeking honesty and good values in life. . It
was commissioned for placement at Patronis Elementary school in Panama City
Florida as a gift to the school from the Patronis family.
EAGLES Welded copper sculptures, Two eagle compositions, each 7 ' in height. Installed: In two niches under the Rotunda of the Florida Supreme Court Building, Tallahassee, Florida. ROLLYCOASTER is an experiment in triangulated form with copper welded into a composition 14’ high including the base. It was installed and dedicated as a gift from the artist to Tallahassee Community College in 2005 . This experimental sculpture inspired the development of the September 11th Memorial Sculpture that the Artist accomplished in Costa Rica. SKYSCAPE is copper sculpture and acrylic painting which fills an airport atrium area with a feeling of Wind, Birds, and clouds.
